How we choose comparison-search partners
OpenView Tours catalogs publicly listed tours and experiences and compares them across a curated set of independent comparison-search partners. We do not sell tours, do not hold bookings, and do not represent any tour operator. Bookings, prices, availability, cancellation policies, and customer service are handled entirely by the partner on its own site.
How the comparison works
We catalog publicly listed tours and experiences from each partner, normalize titles and durations, and surface the relevant matches for your search. Prices shown are estimates based on public partner listings; the partner's checkout price is the only authoritative figure. Every "View on partner" link opens a brief outbound interstitial, then sends you to the partner's site.
Curatorial standards
- Partners must publish a clear cancellation policy on every listing.
- Partners must support a real customer-service channel (email, phone, or in-app chat).
- Partners must accept refunds within US DOT 24-hour booking windows where applicable, and within their own published windows otherwise.
- We do not weight partners by the size of their referral fee. Sort order is editorial: best-fit category match first, then duration match, then partner reliability.
- We drop partners whose listings 404 or whose deeplink behavior breaks. Reliability is checked on a rolling 30-day cycle.
FTC affiliate transparency
The names of the comparison-search partners we work with are disclosed on our disclosures page, in line with FTC truth-in-advertising requirements for affiliate referral programs. Each partner is responsible for its own pricing engine, refund policy, and data practices; OpenView Tours is not the operator of any of these services and makes no endorsement claim about them.
